The old saying “You get what you pay for” tends to be very true in the Powerflush industry. A thorough powerflush on an average residential property will take an experienced engineer between 6 to 8 hours to complete, and sometimes longer if a system is really sludged up. Commercial properties are usually ‘Pre-dosed’ and take longer according to their size and system design. However, it requires the right skill, knowledge, equipment and approach to ensure a really thorough job.
Unfortunately, there are certain companies whom will look to win business purely on price and not on the quality of workmanship. What appears to be an amazing deal, usually turns out to be a man whom merely flushes water and a bit of chemical around your heating system for a few hours. This achieves very little and usually requires the job to be carried out again by a professional Powerflush company such as ourselves. So you do unfortunately tend to get exactly what you pay for!
