Thermal image proof!

Before Powerflush
Here are two thermal images of a radiator panel we have powerflushed (BEFORE and AFTER). The first image shows the dramatic effect even a small amount of corrosion sediment build-up can have on reducing heat output. Notice how much heat is lost as a result (Darker Mauve areas). The color coded temperature bar on the right hand side of the image, clearly shows the huge temperature differential between the top and bottom of the panel (17.2C to 70C).

After Powerflush
This second image shows the same panel after a full central heating power flush has been carried out. The results are very clear to see. Removal of the corrosion debris has massively increased the radiators heat output (estimated increase aprox 50%!). This much greater heat output means that your boiler will use far less gas/oil to reach the desired room temperature you have set using your room thermostat or TRV.
A guaranteed result!
As can be seen from the above results, Powerflushing a central heating system can have a massive positive impact, often increasing radiator panel heat outputs by a significant amount. Thermal image cameras enable us to pin-point system blockages, as well as prove the increase in radiator output (on the day).
